Bio

Russell Kleyn is a photographer based in Wellington, New Zealand. He is originally from Cape Town, South Africa where he studied Graphic Design. Russell lived in London for 10 years, completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Photography at Central Saint Martins College of Art, London in 2006.

Publications & Clients include i-D, Vice, Penguin Press UK, Oyster Magazine, Black Magazine, PORT Magazine, FT Weekend Magazine, Victoria University Press, Flying Nun Records, Metronomy, Because Music, HUCK Magazine, Big Magazine, Lodown Magazine amongst others.

His portraits are included in the permanent collections of the National Portrait Gallery in London, and The New Zealand Portrait Gallery in Wellington.
